Diving the Swan
Sitting in 35 metres of water and with a slight list, HMAS Swan Dive Wreck is truly a spectacular site. All kinds of fish and marine animals have made the wreck their home. HMAS Swan Dive Wreck is about a 15 minute boat ride out to sea from Meelup Beach. A number of commercial operators offer dive tours to the Swan Dive Wreck. You can also dive the Swan from a private boat by obtaining an access permit from the Dunsborough Visitor Centre.
Fishing the Cape
The southwest is home to many prize species of fish - Dhufish, Pink Snapper, Nannygai, Breaksea Cod and Queen Snapper to name a few. With many quiet bays, rocky outcrops and of course the famous Busselton Jetty to throw a line; as well there are deep sea charter boats. Best fishing is December to May with salmon running in April.
Skydive over Geographe Bay
Skydive with Southern Skydivers from 14,000ft and take in the scenery over Geographe Bay, the famous Buselton Jetty and the Margaret River region. Qualified tandem instructors take care of everything while you enjoy the ride.
